- Performing electroencephalogram (EEG) test for measuring the electrical activity in the brain
- Performing Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV) test for measuring how fast an electrical impulse moves through nerves
- Performing Electromyography (EMG) for measuring muscle response or electrical activity in response to a nerve's stimulation of the muscle
- Performing Lumbar Puncture (LP) for the diagnosis or treatment of a particular condition such as meningitis, disorders of the central nervous system, bleeding, Guillain-Barre syndrome, multiple sclerosis and cancers of the brain or spinal cord
