- Fellowship of the Egyptian Board in General Surgery
Scope of Service
- Performing all general surgical procedures; such as for example but not limited to hernia repair, endoscopy, colonoscopy, appendectomy and colon surgery, and managing the surgical team
- Performing sphincterotomy as a surgical procedure for treating mucosal fissures from the anal canal
- Cholecystectomy laparoscopic in single incision
- Laparoscopic advanced hernia repair including inguinal, incisional and advanced abdominal wall reconstruction
- Examining and diagnosing patients to determine their illness and need for surgery while planning the best procedure for treatment
- Performing surgical hemorrhoidectomy as the most effective treatment for hemorrhoids
- Development of preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative plans for patients each according to their condition, and discussing surgical results with the patients and team
- Collaborating with anesthesiologists, physician assistants, perioperative staff and registered nurses
