Scope of Service
- Bedside fiberoptic bronchoscopy for the diagnosis and treatment of various respiratory conditions
- Placement of thoracostomy tube for the treatment of pleural effusion, pneumothorax, hemothorax, hemopneumothorax, and empyema
- Placement of hemodialysis catheters
- Central venous catheter insertion via subclavian, internal jugular and femoral veins
- Performing bone marrow examination procedures including bone marrow aspiration and biopsy and lumbar puncture, as well as paracentesis for body fluid sampling
- Endotracheal intubations by direct laryngoscopy, Swan-Ganz catheterization and transthoracic echocardiography
- Conducting pericardiocentesis and thoracentesis procedures in addition to the ultrasound-guided central line placement
- Treatment of life-threatening infections and different types of traumas, injuries and hematological emergencies
- Performing the required measures for dealing with cardiac conditions
- Performing the required measures for dealing with renal failure and hemodialysis
- Performing the required measures for dealing with neurological emergency cases
