Scope of Service

  • Bedside fiberoptic bronchoscopy for the diagnosis and treatment of various respiratory conditions
  • Placement of thoracostomy tube for the treatment of pleural effusion, pneumothorax, hemothorax, hemopneumothorax, and empyema
  • Placement of hemodialysis catheters 
  • Central venous catheter insertion via subclavian, internal jugular and femoral veins
  • Performing bone marrow examination procedures including bone marrow aspiration and biopsy and lumbar puncture, as well as paracentesis for body fluid sampling 
  • Endotracheal intubations by direct laryngoscopy, Swan-Ganz catheterization and transthoracic echocardiography
  • Conducting pericardiocentesis and thoracentesis procedures in addition to the ultrasound-guided central line placement
  • Treatment of life-threatening infections and different types of traumas, injuries and hematological emergencies  
  • Performing the required measures for dealing with cardiac conditions 
  • Performing the required measures for dealing with renal failure and hemodialysis
  • Performing the required measures for dealing with neurological emergency cases 
  • Performing the required measures for dealing with Endocrine emergencies
  • Dealing with conditions of respiratory failure requiring mechanical ventilation including pneumonia, asthma, COPD, lung cancer and others
  • Dealing with acute pregnancy conditions and intoxications
